Reimagining Actimage
A Smooth Digital Experience Built with Webflow and JavaScript

When working on the Actimage.de website, my main goal was to bring a modern, fluid, and elegant experience to a company that already had a strong presence in digital transformation. The challenge was to redesign their online image into something dynamic and interactive, while keeping a clean and professional look that fits their brand identity.

🧩 The Process

I chose to build the site using Webflow as the foundation — not only for its flexibility and design precision, but also because it allows for rapid iteration and visual control over layout and animations.

However, many of the transitions and animations you see on the site go beyond Webflow’s native tools. To achieve smoother interactions and custom motion effects, I implemented JavaScript-based animations, enhancing the experience with subtle transitions, dynamic element reveals, and scroll-based effects.

⚙️ Why Webflow + Custom JS

Webflow gave me the speed and visual freedom to design directly in the browser, while custom JavaScript offered creative control over animations that needed more precision — like controlled easing, parallax layers, and dynamic transitions between sections.

This hybrid approach made it possible to keep the workflow efficient while still delivering a bespoke, interactive experience tailored to Actimage’s needs.

🎨 The Result

The final result is a minimal yet visually striking interface, built around contrast, motion, and simplicity. The smooth transitions and animated circles symbolize Actimage’s approach to innovation — constantly moving, connecting, and evolving.
